  Art is a Research Support Associate, one of two full-time employees on the Project. Art served on the Project from 1988 to 1994, and from 1998 to present. In the interim he was supervisor of the Landscape Management Research Center. He received a B.S. in Plant Science from Penn State in 1985, and an M.S. in Crop and Soil Science in 2003. He recently served as the Research & Education Coordinator for the Northeastern Weed Science Society, and is a past-president of the Mid-Atlantic Exotic Pest Plant Council, Inc.

Jon Johnson, Research Support Associate, jmj5@psu.edu

  Jon Johnson is a Research Support Associate, one of two full-time employees on the Project. Jon Johnson received a B.S. degree in Agronomy from The Pennsylvania State University in 1987. From 1987 to 1994 he worked in private industry for both Weeds, Inc. and The Greenway Group. Weeds, Inc. provides industrial weed control services throughout much of the eastern U.S. The Greenway Group provided turfgrass and vegetation management services for commercial accounts in the tri-state area. In 1994 he returned to The Pennsylvania State University to work with Pennsylvania's Roadside Research Project. He is presently pursuing an M.S. in Horticulture, evaluating seasonal effects of herbicide applications to tree-of-heaven.
